Born in 1911, Hilda Tweedy was a life-long campaigner for equality, justice and women's (and human) rights, both in Ireland and internationally. This website is a record of her life, her work and her achievements, and includes many of her personal documents. For an overview of the project and more information about the website, go to About. For a biographical overview go to Timeline. For further research go to Archive.
Most of the material used for the website has been collected and researched by Dr Jean Tweedy Walker who also funded the project in honour of her parents.
