Hilda’s political work was, next to her family, the most important feature in her life. This collection holds all the material which has not been archived as part of the Tweedy Papers in the National Archives of Ireland. It includes various documents and images as well as interviews and newspaper articles (which are also stored in a separate collection) on Hilda’s political work and provides a fascinating insight into her busy life as a women’s and human rights campaigner.
